Homeschool co-ops, as outlined by HEAV.org, do not require accreditation. This flexibility allows co-ops to operate without the constraints of state regulations, licenses, or certifications for instructors, aside from a criminal background check. However, this does not mean that just anyone can teach within the co-op.

Our community prioritizes finding responsible and capable instructors for each subject and course, ensuring a high-quality educational experience.

All services and curricula are monitored by a licensed, insured, and certified educator in the state of Virginia, Samantha Van Liew, who helps maintain educational standards.

Moreover, parents and students retain the freedom to choose whether to continue in any course, fostering an environment of choice and accountability in our learning community.
